Wengen lies in the Jungfrau Region around the Eiger, Mönch and Lauberhorn, and has pistes for all levels of skill in altitudes from 943 to 2,971m. You can also embark on unique excursions by mountain train or on foot. 44 modern lift facilities lead to more than 200 km of ski runs and tracks, with fantastic downhill runs of 6 to 12 km in length. If have been skiing, snowboarding or winter hiking for a couple of days or weeks, you will sooner or later be tempted to ascend the Jungfraujoch, often referred to as the "Top of Europe", with the Jungfraubahn, the mountain train.
